The experimental results showed that the radius of steel slag was in the range of 120～180 mesh, solution pH was 4, initial phenol concentration was less than 500 mg/L, and the mass ration of phenol/steel slag was 1∶1000, the phenol adsorption capacity of steel slag was 0.5 mg/g.
