In order to establish contact between the damage analysis and the study of fracture mechanics, a new formulation of damage variable is proposed in this paper. Then the crack line field analysis method is for the first time used to investigate the micro crack in concrete. The formula referred to the un-dimensional length of damage cracking zone and the un-dimensional tension stress is found out. And also the maximum tension stress varied with micro crack spacing and the evolving equation with bending damage of the concrete pile are obtained. The influence of the micro crack density on damage cracking in concrete is analyzed. The calculation of the cracking level of the concrete pile is discussed.
