So to define principal dimensions data and accomplish technique design procedure on the basis of the satisfactory that hull form should meet the above requirement, the test and measurement of resistance, self propulsion, flow line, flow field and seakeeping were carried out in Statens Skeppsprovningsanstalt, Goteborg Towing Tank in order to get the best hull form lines by comparative and optimistic analysis to the results of the above tests and measurements.
由于该船为多用途货船，要尽可能多的箱型货舱，因此在论证船型设计符合箱型货舱要求的基础上，确定船型主尺度参数，完成技术设计方案，然后又委托瑞典国家水池进行阻力、自航、流线、流场测定以及耐波性等试验对船型进行优化比较分析。比较不同线型船模以及不同的节能装置的试验结果，获得合适的优秀线型。
