  5. In the present work, aqueous gelcasting-hot pressing technique to prepare SiC matrix laminated composites with superior properties was firstly realized. The composites with about 130μm matrix layers and 8μm interfacial layers were prepared. These met the properties of combustor liner materials in airplane engine.
