Methods A modified four-column stereotactic frame was used for immobilizing cranio-cervical specimen in 8 adult cadavers with screws to make the head-neck-shoulder form a rigid integrated body, and to maintain the stability of the spatial position. The 3D localization information of the axis was acquired by thin-slice CT scan. AeroTech surgical planning software was used for three-dimensional modeling. A safe, visualized, and individual virtual inserting path for screw placement was designed, and its security was validated through interative virtual maneuvering.

The nonlinear relative dynamics between the interceptor and the target in the vertical plane is analyzed with the target acceleration being viewed as an unknown disturbance. By defining the sliding surface as the input variable of fuzzy rules, the adaptive laws on a Lyapunov function are developed to adjust the parameters of the fuzzy rules to guarantee the stability of the system. The guidance law not only keeps the line-of-sight rate between interception and target converging to zero, but also guarantees intercepting all kinds of maneuvering targets.
