The total cholesterol, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and arteriosclerosis index in the serum of the hulless barley bran oil group were lower than the hyperlipidemia model group (P.05 or P.01), and the ratio of high density lipoprotein to total cholesterol was higher than the hyperlipidemia group (P.05). Hulless barley bran oil has significant effects on controlling hyperlipidemia and atherosclerosis in rats; this may be due to the high content of linoleic acid.
结果表明青稞麸皮油对大鼠的高血脂症和动脉硬化的形成有明显的抑制作用，而造成这一结果的原因可能是青稞麸皮油中的高亚油酸含量。
