Based on the analysis for these characteristics and vertical evolution、sedimentary process, it is raised that Nanduan formation is a set of proximal wide-ranging-happening (no-fan model) grain flow、turbidite and shelf sediments in the wave-control delta front slop and deep shelf environment, and is not abyssal flysch suite.
