The bagged corn was divided in 2 groups, clean and infested. The treatments included: fumigation with 55% Phostoxin at 3 tab/M^3, 10% Reldan and 10% Baythion using the smoke methodat the rate of 3 and 5ml/M^3 and fivedays after fumigation with Phostoxin then treated with smoked Reldan and Baythion. The latter one gave the best control for the infested bagged corn. The latter one gave the best control for the infested bagged corn. The smoked Reldan and Baythion at 5m1/M^3 supplied the residue effect that prevented the pests from infesting the clean corn which was economic and effective.
储藏袋装玉米中分别含害虫与未含害虫者，以Reldan 10%及Baythion 10%各以3及5ml/M^2药量喷烟处理，与Phostoxin 55% 3片／M^2药量熏蒸处理，及先用Phostoxin熏蒸处理后5天，再以Reldan及Baythion喷烟处理，结果袋装玉米中含害虫者，以先Phostoxin熏蒸后再Reldan及Baythion喷烟处理之治虫较彻底，如袋装玉米未含害虫者，则以Reldan及Baythion 5ml/M^2药量喷烟处理，其残效可防止袋外害虫侵入，此法可达到经济有效治虫效果。
