Thirty-six male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups: Normal, Model, SIN and TWP group. 24h urine protein was determined with the trichloroacetic acid turbidimetry. SerumTP, Alb, TC, TG, HDL, LDL, BUN, Scr were assayed with the automaticbiochemistry analyzer. Each group of the mesangiu area and the membrane cell and the extracellular matrix were observed with light microscope, electron microscope. The expression of TNF-αwas observed with the immunohistochemical staining and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. The anticancer properties PSP were also studied, in vitro experiments, the antiproliferation effects of PSP on tumor cells were evaluated by MTT assay, the HeLa cell morphological changes were observed under light microscope, HeLa cell division cycles and apoptosis were measured by flow cytometry. It was found that PSP could inhibit HeLa cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in HeLa cell. PSP not only exerts inhibitory effects on HepG-2 cell proliferations but also on insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF-2) mRNA expression; PSP also has the ability to inhibit gastric cancer, colic and rectal cancercells in vitro.

The results showed that when both β-actin and GAPDH were used as internal control the MYH mRNA expression was complete consistent, and its expression was increased from the gastrula stage to larval stage, which represented the statistic significant difference at the level of 0.05 possibility.
